Annual Presentation Morning

On Wednesday 24th June 2009 the Centre's annual Presentation of Certificates was held in the Strangford Arms Hotel.  Women who had completed education and training courses during the past year were presented with their certifcates.  Young people who had completed courses while on the Peer Education Project were presented with their certifcates.

Adult Learners' Week 09
Ballybeen Women's Centre is holding 3 events to mark Adult Learners' Week which runs from 9th May to 16th May 2009:
 
Monday 11th May - Culture and Diversity Coffee Morning 10am-12noon
 
Tuesday 12th May - Visit to the Public Records Office 10am-2pm
 
Friday 15th May - Positive Parenting Workshop 1pm-3pm

Big Lottery Live and Learn Funding

Ballybeen Women's Centre is a member of the Women's Centres Regional Partnership which has received a Big Lottery grant of nearly £1 million under the Live and Learn funding programme.  This grant will be used to run the Women’s Centres Learning Partnership project that offer families and communities a chance to develop skills and improve their lifestyle.
